Greetings from East Africa. We are a sustainable design company (Multi-Award-winning but that´s not as important as YOU ARE!).
We make backpacks for work, travel, study and leisure in canvas, leather and unique African print patterns (Super colorful). Every product we sell pays for a School bag called a SeatPack (a school bag that turns to a bamboo classroom chair with a writing surface) - given to primary school children without a place to sit and write during class due to economic disadvantage (need estimated over 95 million children in Sub-Saharan Africa).
The Change-maker 2.0 edition: We learned to work closely with customer wishes from the release of this bag. It made Change happen in Zetu´s creative process. We are grateful!
Why do we do this?
Honestly, because with you, we can!
We understand great design, and (hopefully) you have great product taste.
Every bag we have is a custom order by someone that would love to have the ideal backpack/bag.
Our goal is to have a Family of 10,000 Unique Individuals owning a Zetu Bag, and 10,000 school children receiving a SeatPack by Christmas 2023.
Is Life Beautiful?
While writing this, over the last 12 months (2023) we have made SeatPacks for 1,770 school children in East Africa that previously had no place to sit and write during class. Our goal is to have 10,000 school children in East Africa have a place to sit and write during class because they receive a SeatPack. Not as easy task so far, but we have a growing family of unique individuals buying Zetu bags and making furnished classrooms accessible for the marginalized.
