Every Zetu Africa purchase provides a school child across rural Africa with a SeatPack - a schoolbag that turn into a classroom chair with a portable writing surface. So far, we've provided over 1,800 SeatPacks.

Ochiba Primary School 

Ochiba Primary School is a mixed day and boarding school, located in Northern Uganda, Arua District. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the cemented floor. 

 

50 SeatPacks were handed to the school by the Zetu family. We have since received positive reviews on child attendance and attention in class due to the SeatPack use. 

Alijoda Primary School

Located in Northern Uganda, West-Nile region. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students in the new classroom sat on the uncemented floor covered with old sisal sacks.  Alijoda PS is a mixed day and boarding school with sanitary facilities on the premises.

Abiki Primary School

Located in Northern Uganda, West-Nile region. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on huge stones under a big Mango tree. Abiki PS is a mixed day and boarding school with sanitary facilities on the premises.

YOYO Primary School

Located in Northern Uganda, Bidi-Bidi refugee settlement camp (largest settlement in Uganda). Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the floor in the open shelter classrooms. Yoyo PS is a mixed day and boarding school with sanitary facilities on the premises.

50 SeatPacks were handed to the students with extreme joy. We have since received positive reviews on child enthusiasm to attend school and increased attention in class due to the SeatPack use.  We also received the request to include a menstruation Sanitary aid for girls or age at Yoyo PS. This feature is now standard across all SeatPacks.

APO ARMY Primary School

Located in Northern Uganda, Yumbe district. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the floor in the open shelter classrooms. Apo Army PS is a mixed day and boarding school set up to educate children of Men and Women in service to the Uganda Peoples Defense Forces. The school has with sanitary facilities on the premises.

LUI Primary School

Located in Eastern Uganda, Moroto district. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the floor in the closed shelter classrooms. Lui PS is a mixed day and boarding school set up to educate children of Karamajong tibe.

50 SeatPacks were handed to the students in collaboration with Karatunga tours and travel company. A community activity based travel company shwocasing Karamajong culture to the worldWe have since received positive reviews on child enthusiasm to attend school and increased attention in class due to the SeatPack use.

Kibinjwa Primary School

Located in Western Uganda, Hoima district. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the floor under a tree shed. Kibinjwa PS is a mixed day and boarding school set up to educate children of the Albertine region, a key oil drilling region in East Africa.

50 SeatPacks were handed to the students in collaboration with JICA UGANDA.  The Japanese International Corporation Agency is a national support organisation with interest to improve education in Uganda amongst other sector activities We have since received positive reviews on child enthusiasm to attend school and increased attention in class due to the SeatPack use.  

Learning Center - War Child Canada

Located in Western Uganda, Nakivale settlement camp in Isingiro district. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the floor and benches in a tent structure. The Primary school is a mixed day school set up to educate children fleeing conflict from Burundi, DRC and South Sudan.

Adolescent Parent Learning Centre - War Child Canada

Located in Western Uganda, Nakivale settlement camp in Isingiro district. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the floor and benches in a tent structure. The secondary school is a day school set up to educate children fleeing conflict from Burundi, DRC and South Sudan.

Gombe Kayunga Primary School 

Located in Central Uganda, Wakiso district. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the floor and squeezed on small desks in built classroom structures. The secondary school is a mixed day and boarding school set up to educate children living in the suburbs of Kampala, the capital of Uganda.
